Is there a list of constitutional democracies? I’d like to get one so that if and when my country becomes indistinguishable from a column 2, 3, or 4 country I know where to look for a people and a nation that has the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness lesson well ingrained.
In my country there are indications that the last election was rigged, that our military is indistinguishable from a Hessian mercenary corps and that a large majority of our teachers are either the witting or unwittingly dupes of the pharmaceutical industrial complex. Earlier today I saw a line thirty people long waiting for free CoVid testing, with a uniformed guard outside.(Why is there a guard? The testing is free. Puzzling.) For what reason are weekly bio samples being mandated by the government? Are they collecting DNA? What are they going to do with these samples?
Scott Adams says we are in a golden age. Michael Malice asserts that now is an era of the white pill.
I hope and pray that they are both correct.
Here is a list of constitutions (Wiki is a good start) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_constitutions
You’ll have to read them to find one you like. But, just keep in mind that a constitution is only a tool. If it isn’t used it is useless. If it is used incorrectly, it is worse than useless. So, you’ll have to pay close attention to the current events.
I don’t think any constitution is as well-written as the on in the USA. Even there, freedom is being threatened because the population barely understands the meaning or importance of the document and fail to use it or use it incorrectly.
Here is a good description of a constitutional democracy and its elements and characteristics: https://www.civiced.org/lesson-plans/constitutional-democracy
Every system is constantly under attack. America and most Western countries have been attacked with subversive weapons taking over the education and communication industries. Through education, this attack has subverted much of the legal and political systems. Through the communication industry, which includes entertainment and news, the population is lulled into complacency and riled into fury as needed.
I think we’re facing a crisis of identity that is being exploited and intensified by people who want to eliminate constitutional rights of any kind.
Neither Scott Adams nor Michael Malice would want to admit there is a we who is under attack.
